Our strategy comes directly from the way Jesus makes more and better disciples. He intentionally invites people to come and follow him. Those followers grow together in groups and proceed to serve the world. Then they go and invite others do the same.
Jesus’ strategy is the JaxNaz Church strategy:
COME – come and see. | John 1:39-41 | Every worship gathering at JaxNaz Church is designed to point people toward Jesus; come and see what God is doing!
GROW – grow together. | Philippians 1:9-11 | Once you have been attending for a while, you will find yourself wanting more. Start reading your Bible and praying on your own, but also seek growth in community through classes, groups, and retreats.
SERVE – serve Jesus. | 1 Peter 4:10 | As you continue growing, your faith will become less about you and more about others. Reading your Bible and praying frequently will spur you on to a deeper love of God, which is shown through serving others through and beyond JaxNaz.
GO – go and tell. | Matthew 28:19-20 | Finally, your commitment to the community will blossom into leadership as you invite others to come, help them grow, and serve alongside them. People become leaders because they are great followers.

Our Connections Team is ready to welcome you home, answer any questions you may have, and guide you to where you need to go.
Ushers are available just inside the sanctuary ready to help you feel right at home. Let them know how many people are with you, and they will guide you to the best seat(s) available.
Our worship services typically last about an hour. Children's ministries for birth through fifth grade run during every worship service. Sixth through eighth graders worship in the teen center during our 11:15 service. High school students worship together in our inter-generational worship services in the sanctuary and gather together on Sunday evenings.
Doors open for Bright Beginnings (birth through kindergarten) fifteen minutes before services begin. Kid City (elementary aged children's ministry) and AM (middle school youth ministry) doors open ten minutes before service. We recommend arriving early so you won’t feel rushed.
WHAT TO WEAR?
Dress comfortably. One of the things you’ll notice about JaxNaz is that people are free to be themselves. You’ll feel right at home wearing anything from jeans and tennis shoes to wingtips and business suits.
We would love the opportunity to meet you. Our pastors make themselves available after services in the Commons and in their ministry areas. If you have any questions during your visit, ask anyone with a nametag or visit the Catalyst Center.
Safety is important to us. Every parent/guardian of kids birth through fifth grade receives an identification tag that matches the child’s ID number. Only the adult with this tag and its corresponding number can pick a child up after service. That number also serves to notify parents/guardians if their child needs their attention while during service.
Growth happens in community. The early Church experienced tremendous growth as they lived and worshiped together in their place of worship and in each other’s homes. Meeting together in small groups has remained an effective way to get and stay connected to the Body of Christ ever since! Groups at JaxNaz continue this beautiful tradition.
Please let us know if you would like to join or lead a Group. Can’t find a group to join? Start by telling us a little about yourself (like your age, family dynamic, how long you have attended JaxNaz Church). Be sure to let us know how we can help you, too!
Visit grow.jaxnazchurch.com help you find community.
Lives are changed when we serve others. When you serve, people hear Jesus in your words and see Him in your actions. Plus, the Bible teaches that when you serve others, you are actually serving Jesus (Matthew 25:35-49). So, people see him in you and you get to see him in them!
You don’t have to be perfect to serve Jesus. You just have to be willing. Because it is Jesus Christ we serve, we expect the following of every volunteer:
1. Treat every person with dignity.
2. Demonstrate grace to those you serve.
3. Love your neighbor as yourself. (Mark 12:31)

Jesus told us to be disciple-making disciples (Matthew 28:19). Not one of us can make a disciple on our own, but each of us can play a part in leading people to Christ by connecting others to the community at JaxNaz, Extend personal invitations and use social media to share what God is doing at JaxNaz, encourage those around you to get into a group, and serve alongside them in and beyond the JaxNaz Church.
