The Bible teaches us to honor God by giving Him our first and best, trusting Him to provide for the rest. This practice is called tithing. A tithe is giving back 10% of our income as an act of worship and gratitude, recognizing that everything we have ultimately comes from Him.
Giving isn’t about obligation. it’s a celebration as we participate in what God is doing. Even small contributions matter, like the widow’s mite in Mark 12:41–44 and Luke 21:1–4, where Jesus honored a widow for giving two small coins. Give what you can and watch God multiply it. Jesus himself said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35)
An added bonus is that you’ll experience more joy, more faith, and more of a share in the good things going on.
Tithes provide the financial foundation for the ongoing ministry of JaxNaz. They fund the day-to-day work of the church, including weekend worship services, discipleship environments, pastoral care, next generation ministries, staffing, denominational commitments, and operational needs. Through faithful giving, ministry happens consistently, helping people take their next step with Jesus.
Giving to Outreach at JaxNaz fuels ministry beyond our walls. Your generosity supports Orphan and Vulnerable Children (OVC) both locally and globally, our Saturday Morning Ministries, Safe Families for Children, and Compassionate Ministries of Jackson County—bringing food, care, and hope to children and families locally and globally. Every gift helps us be the hands and feet of Jesus in practical ways.
Special Offerings are time-sensitive gifts for needs outside our regular budget—such as facility projects, scholarships, or love offerings for special events. These gifts meet specific needs and make an immediate impact.
Debt Reduction gifts go directly toward paying down existing debt and strengthening the financial health of JaxNaz. As debt decreases, more resources are freed for ministry and outreach. Every gift helps position our church for greater impact and long-term sustainability.
